idle adjustment on fuel injected twin cam
its a rookie question i know since ive had a carburated bike in the past and understand the adjustments there but i have an 08 crossbones that is stock with samson fishtails (slight popping on deceleration, no biggie) but i feel like its idling a little high. im guessing it would have to be done by a tech or remapping with a fuel tuner. any input is appreciated.

ON FI, if you take it to Harley they won't touch the idle saying thats the way it suppose to be. MY manual even mentioned the higher rpm is normal idle. They want a faster idle on FI bikes. About 1100 rpm..Mine was there when new 10yrs ago. I see it idle now around 1000- 1050 when warmed up.

Yeah, I know it's an old thread, but with all the fuel management systems, I had to post..... Timing is part of the equation. Had a cam swap years ago and the bike went, even when hot from 1100 down to 900-950. A timing adjustment moved it back to 1000-1050. Maybe I'll move it back to where it was as many here like that "starved" sound.....
