battery terminal side mount adapter?

battery terminal side mount adapter?
I also posted this in the Dyna forum. The summer is rapidly going and I can't find an adapter to hook my new battery up. The local shops act as if they have no clue. I decided to put a PC545 Odyssey battery in my 2009 Street Bob. Factory battery went south and the Odyssey has more cranking power than the OEM. Problem, the Odyssey has top mount terminals and the OEM was a side mount. Positive terminal has some play in the wires, so could switch to top mount on that end. The negative ground has NO play. I sent for an "L" adapter made by Odyssey from Battery Mart but it must be made for a different battery than the PC545 as it's terminal center to side distance is 3/4" and the PC545 would need a minimum of 1 1/8" to allow hook-up, 1 1/4" would be better. Anyone know of an adapter that would work, or is this going to be a self fabrication project. The Odyssey dealer - "Battery Stuff" in Grants Pass, OR acted like I was speaking a little known Swahili dialect when I asked them. I am an amateur auto mechanic and total newbie H-D mechanic here. Any help much appreciated.
