i'm not sure if anyone will answer you so i'll try to help you out. I don't own one but will be making my own and pretty much it works by having rods that ur tour packs or back rests click into. much just like the actual bolts on your bike. the only key measurements you need is from the one end (front) to the back where you use the detachable hardware. you can make it as wide as you want to.

I'm afraid to ask. Anyone know how much HD sells it for?

Here is another option, and the price seems reasonable. http://www.jgspecialties.com/

I meant it as I'm not sure how many people own them to answer. allot of guys on the forum are handy like you and me and will try our best to go around paying top dollar for things we can fabricate ourselves for half the price.

I made one and I'll send you pics. and specs.
I made it on 16" ctrs. to catch the studs in the garage.
Very simple angle iron and aluminum rod construction.
Holds my tourpak very secure.

I don't have photos...but I made one for a buddy. Used 2 pieces of 2x4 with a plywood back for mounting to the wall 2 threaded rods covered with clear hose, Spaced the 2x4's just a little wider than the tourpac. Works great.
