Default Power Vision - No ECU

Just got my Power Vision and when I try to load a map it says no ECU detected. Any ideas? This is on a 2012 Limited.

I don't think it would run well without one.

Turn on the Ign switch and the kill switch on the handlebars . The most common thing is people forget to turn on the handlebar kill switch it will read the ECU and then marry to your bike

Plug it into the plug behind the lf side cover, turn on the Ign and kill switch and it will power up. If you only have the Ign on and the kill switch off it will power up but no detect the ECM.

They are really simple just follow the screen. The first time you will have to marry it to the bike and it will save the original MAP. The select your new MAP and flash, when its done it will ask you to turn off the ign for 10 sec and your ready to go . If your PV has the newest firmwear you will also be asked if you want to reset trim values, you should do this.

Enjoy the PV, its a great easy to use tuner. If you got it from Fuel Moto the MAP should be pretty close. I tried the couple MAPS on the Dyno Jet site and they were no where as strong as the ones Jame sent me.

It took 3 subtle changes to my original MAP to get it near perfect but now my bike has virtually no decel popping , pulls strong with no flat spots and gets 42 mpg on freeway riding.
