Default Chopper Guys or Kenny Boyce FXR Frame

I'm looking at doing a custom build based on a FXR. What frame is better quality? Any input would be cool.

The Chopper Guys frame uses the boxed backbone which seems like would be stronger and more rigid. They are also more local to my area. I could drive there and pick one up. I like local.

Kenny Boyce has been around awhile and has some frames out there.

The goal will be a well balanced, great handling bike. Oh and it will be a TC engine platform.

Thanks
Bill

sounds like to me since chopper guys are local that would be the way to go. I know they make durable stuff. My 2 cents. (and $2.25 will get you a cup of coffee).

Chopper guys. What kind of frame you looking at. I've been thinking about the same thing. Would like a stock frame that mounts a TC. But they make all sorts of variations over there.

I'm looking at the wide tire frame. I just heard yesterday that they may not be in biz anymore. Any word on that?

Cool frames for sure, but another project, for another time. Building a sweet a$$ ridgid is on the list.

Is it a chopperguys dropseat frame? If it's the one I'm thinking of I say go for it.

Not the drop seat. I like the idea of the drop seat, but I need to see some better pics of one. I don't like the build they have done on the web page of the drop seat. Well, I like it, its just not what I want right now.
