Won't Idle--- Dies after slowing down
After purchasing and installing a new battery, my bike that had been sitting for 8 months started right up. Unfortunately it won't stay on after initial revs. I took for a spin to get gas, but it would turn off while going into turns or anytime I slowed down. Any ideas?

How much gas was still in it after sitting 8 months? Probably best to drain the gas and put fresh in.

It's carb, and had about a half a gallon left.

Sounds like your idle jets are clogged, assuming its a Carb setup. Try the sea foam, or get some carb cleaner and spray the hell out of it
