Is there an easy or specific way of replacing the crossover gaskets without it getting torn up or moving around??? Just wanna know before I get started.

The specific way from the manual is to slide clamp onto crossover, install new gasket, then "twist and push" crossover pipe onto exhaust header pipe.

So you put the gaskets inside the crossover pipe and not on the header pipe???

Thats what I did. I put a dab of anti-seize on it for a little lube....I dont think it hurts anything to do that but it helped. I couldnt reuse the original one. It's a $4.95 part but better than a leak!

Wow, I just noticed there is one in there. Guess I should have looked at the manual a little closer. Mine is in such good shape I couldn't even tell it was a gasket, painted right around it.

I've messed up my old gasket and a new gasket before figureing out the technique. It's the same as putting a condom on the male end and inserting into the female end verses inserting the condom into the female end and then trying to insert the male end.!!??
