I want to change to Synthetic oils.Does anyone use Amsoil over harley brands? whats your take on oil brands for all 3 compartments.

 

amzoil all the way! i switched my 07' ultra over at the 1000 mile service 7000 miles on now and no problems! also my 04' heritage runs the same oils and again 24,000 miles no problems!! if you find a local dealer you can save afew bucks on the oil to but well worth the cost imho!!!!

 

I have an 04 Road King Classic with 23K and I use amsoil in all 3 holes. Runs great and not as hot. Good luck.

Amsoil 20w50 in engine and primary. 75w140 in the transmission. Son has 07 and 20w50 in engine and primary and he tried there new 75w110 in his transmission. Big difference between it and HD oil for transmission lotsquiter

Mine has 10,000 on it and the three times it's been changed I've used H/D oil, this time Im gonna use mobile 1 v-twin

 

Amsoil all three holes here. It's the best, Goggle it and you will see for your self.

 

AMSOIL. HD IS REALLY NOT TOO GOOD.

 

Amsoil 20-50mv or mobil1 20-50 vtwin in motor and primary, mobil1 75/90or same from amsoil, but have also uase redline heavy shockproof in tranny.

 

AMSOIL will go in my bike as soon as I break it in.
