hello, I read on here where most bikes came with the wire already ran for the battery tender to connect to, but then i also read that it was up to the dealer to install. I have an 09 SG and my new battery and tender should be arriving today and was trying to see if i already had the hook up or not. someone said its by the transmission, I've looked down behind the transmission on both sides. no luck...

For some reason I want to say that when I purchased my battery tenders they came with the bike hook-up as well as the hook-up that pinches, like a car cable, for a non permanent application. If it comes with one, just hook that one up yourself. It will take you longer to get to the battery then it will take to install on the battery.
When you uncover the battery to replace it, look and see if the "extra" tender wires are already attached, and then follow them out to the pigtail. If not, attach them once you drop in the new battery.
