RE: Softail standard front wheels
Agree with you on losing the spoked wheel up front.I'm going with HD's chromed six spoke cast wheel this spring on my FXSTB so no pics yet Keith.
I think you'll enjoy the '07 ST Standard quite a bit. There really isn't much that I'd feel right about changing on my Train, but if I had a Standard I'd have a blast modifying it.
Any early ideas of what you might do with the rest of the bike ?

That front tire replaced the stock tire. It's a Harley Davidson Donlop D402F tire. It's the MH90-21 model. Here's the link:

Here's a picture of a buddies front rim.

I'm wanting to toss out that spoke also.
I would have done it already, but I'm still recovering from sticker shock from what I've invested in the bike already.
I also wanted to wait and do both wheels, pully and rotors, and that's going to cost a good buck.
Nothing has caught my eye, except the Jesse James "Doom" wheel, but it's not available in the 17" X 6.26, and I don't want an 18" on the rear.
Now, Renegade has something I definitely like..This wheel is the one for sure.
