I installed the Hogtunes 70.2 kit a couple of weeks ago but wasn't satisfied with the speakers so I upgraded to Boom speakers yesterday. I was hesitant to spend another $140 so soon but it's one of the best investments I've made.

The sound is 100% better with the Boom speakers. They are louder and much more clear. I highly recommend them!

So is this considered the best bang for the price with a stock radio? I think the stock 2011's are about 70 watts. I see lots of recommendations for the Polk mm651 and JM Rokker but I think they both are over $200. Not interested in louder, just woul like clearer with better bass.

just put a set in my sg.. anything over 2/3 volume is too loud for me.. can't imagine what an amp would do.. vast improvement in clarity and volume over stock.. of course i'm using an ipod for input...
