putting cruise together for a 05 road king and came across this 70989-98B CC servo motor,does anyone know anything about it ( year it was made,model or models it was used on , etc. ) ??? I'm told it will work on the 05 RK..will it??? if not why...thanks,,,rickydog

 

70989-98B has been replaced with 70989-98C and the 98 gives the year it first appeared and the C means it has been revised 3 times since the original number which would have been 70989-98

However I don't have access to what years it was used on however I can tell you that they released 70989-04 on the 2004 models which would make me believe that the 70989-98 was used until the 2003 models which makes sense as they changed a lot of the electrics on the 2004 models so I would have to think that you would need 70989-04 for a 2005 model.

 

hay scotty ,,,thanks for the info..whish i had a diagram for this servo's pin function..ill look at the manual i have , it covers 99 to 05..these things are hard to come buy and i might have pulled the trigger to soon,should have done more research before i bought it last night...so it might be back on ebay ..thanks again,,rickydog
