SHINY NUTZ!(HOTTOPPERS) Anyone try these? AWESOME!
Hey, Has anyone tried these? I bought a set off Ebay for $35.00 and there great. There just like hot toppers but like 1/3 the cost. They really clean the look of the bike up nice.

Wife bought me the real Hot Toppers in 2003 and they still look like new and work after taking many of them on and off again several times. Hope your Nutz last as long. They do really dress up the bike.

While there are many who look down on us that use Hot Toppers instead of going the chrome bolt/screw/nut route, I agree with your statement about cleaning up the look. I have not seen the Shiny Nutz before but they seems to do what Hot Toppers do. However, not sure where Shiny Nutz are made but Hot Toppers are made in the USA and the company is headquartered in the Milwaukee area or was when I visited them while attending the 100th H-D Anniversary Party. Being made in the US would cause me to lean toward buying the Hot Topper unless Shiny Nutz were also US made.

Hear you there, They were sent from Ohio. I'll have to check with them and see where they were made. I have Hot toppers on one of my bikes and I love them. But they were very costly.

What's the deal about these when it's time to put a wrench on the "bolt head"? Do they come off easily to be reused? What about the ones that need silicone?

You pull them off with a pliers or shimmy them off with a small screw driver head and they're reusable.

a really small flat bladed screwdriver to pry them up. advice: if you take your bike to the dealer for any work, take them off before you go. you probably won't get them back if you don't.
