If you're just touching up or spraying a small area, Color rite's products work very well. I've painted whole fenders and saddlebags:

You can call your local PPG Automotive Finishes distibutor; give them the HD color name (in your case the correct name is Crimson Red Sunglo) and model year; and, they'll be able to look up the code and mix formulas(s) on their computer's intranet data base. Auto repair shops which has a PPG mix station can also access the same information.

You can also send a PM to jharanin (a very helpful member here) and he can supply the PPG paint code for you. More than likely, it will be a tri-stage paint color; i.e., base coat, a tinted clear coat, plus clear.

I'd watchout with local PPG dealers....I had my inner fairing done that way although the color is good the size of the flake was finer and causes the paint to look "different" under certain lighting conditions. Colorite has the correct size flake in it. Or you could get the paint from HD.

 

Do you have the PPG codes for any more of the 2012 or 2013 Harley colors?
