Bump for a sweet looking bike at a very fair price ('course I am partial to old iron!).

 

Take another bump....this looks to be one of the finest '83 FXRS's I've seen. I bought one new in late '82 and rode it all over the country. Never missed a beat. The late shovels were very dependable and this one is rubber mounted with a 5-speed. Yes, it is chain drive but not the awful enclosed chain found on the dressers. Put a good O-ring chain on it and there's very little maintenance. Good luck in getting it to another good home.

My recommendations too. Al my 83 ( FXRT) ever needed was a Dyna ignition and an S&S carb to make it run great.

Changed to an 0 ring chain later on also.
