Pinging when it's hot

Pinging when it's hot
My engine pings slightly when it's hot and when the oil temp reaches 220F, not under. My PC-V doesn't allow to add fuel by temp, only by rpm and throttle position. If I add fuel by rpm range, which I could, I'll be richer when I don't have to.
Am I the only one with this issue and how would you address it?

First of all, I'd try a different brand of gas. Sometimes a different brand will help with pinging issues. If you don't want to add fuel in the PC V table, you can always pull timing in the affected area of the map. Personally, I'd rather add fuel than pull timing. You'll lose some power pulling timing, not so much by adding fuel. Have you considered adding a oil cooler?

I only use 93 gas so I don't think gas is the issue. I get a ping regardless what brand I use.
I have an oil cooler and 220F for the oil isn't that hot.
I will add 10% gas >2000rpm and >40% throttle and see what happens. It does it only when I accelerate, not when I cruise at a steady speed.
Thanks guys.

If it was bad gas, the bike wouldn't run good when cruising. It runs fine, except for this slight ping at acceleration and ONLY when the engine is hot.
I'll add gas in the A/F mixture and see if it fixes the problem.
