That's exactly why I got them. I could make the stock shocks ride good solo or two up, but not both. Adjusting back and forth was a real pain. Now I can ride to work all week with the bike stripped down, and load it up with gear and the wife on the weekend and get the same smooth ride.

You're going to love it Guitar. My wife used to start complaining after about an hour when I had stockers and even after I changed to 422's. Now she doesn't complain at all. We rode home from Austin in a hurry and we only stopped for gas one time on the six hour ride. No complaints and no bottoming out.

I'm trying to justify the purchase, myself. I have it lowered 2" and like it and the ride just fine. About twice a month, me and the wife go out for an afternoon, so it would be good to raise it up then, but that's the only use I can see for it.

...or am I missing something?
You're missing the part were it is the best ride you will get solo or two up at any ride height and almost or possibly more important the part where you park it, slam it to the ground, and watch everyone come over and want to take a look.

Well, the Shotgun Shock is on the way! Thanks for all the input, and from talking to JD, and riding this weekend in the hill country, two up with 70 pounds of luggage...and seeing the picture Txmotofoto took of us and how low we were sitting...I'm looking forward to getting it installed and then heading to Arkansas for Bikes, Blues and BBQ and seeing how it does on a 2000+ miles "shake down" ride!

Yes, just be sure to mention that you have ABS when you order.
