Default air adjustment

keeping the air pressure right has always seemed tricky on my 05 road king. i just got my shocks back on after having them shortened by bitchen bagger. i think i am going to enjoy having the bike set lower, but trying to get the pressure at 15-20 psi is even touchier than before. it seems that the difference between too much and too little is only a gnat fart of air. check with a tire gage and you've lost most of the air. i 'll bet harley has some fancy gaget for setting the pressure but has any one found an easy way to get the pressure right.

Harley has a small hand air pump with gage. It can be removed without losing air.

Use the shock gauge from Harley.
You don't lose air. That's what it's designed for.
Using a tire gauge is a waste of time!
You'll never get it right.

Progressive also makes a great little hand pump that you can be very accurate with. Also no loss of air when disconnecting.
