The photo of the green bike is from 1987 and me on it .this is before it was restored ,check the bubble bags and tourpack.
I'm sending a photo of the partly built 59 as of today.
The red 59 in the photos I have never seen ,just got the photo from the internet ,and thats what I'm planning to have my bike look like when it's done .I bought new bubble bags from B&B to go on the 59. I have a white seat ,and other than the seat I think the 2 bikes will look alike .
My painter friend is comming over today to paint the red on the tanks, and fenders ,the white 59 tank design is masked over .
thats a bummer man glad you got back at it I would lose my mind if mine got taken .....

1950 FL a few years ago.

This is the direction it is now going. I just found a TT tank and am going to sink in a hummer switch to the left hand side to afford easy **** down.

It's done introducing my 1961 duo glide I did a 12v conversion added a right side electric start and put 5 gal fat Bob tanks and a luggage box on the back original clean title engine ,frame , fenders transmission, primary . Engine only had top end done with oversized pistons original cylinders heads I bead blasted the entire bike after I took it apart primered and painted myself . Took me two years but last week I took her for her first ride after sitting since 1984/85 . The ride was awesome found some small leaks and tighten everything up she sounds so sweet .. Very nice pans on this posting by the way .
