My Sony has been shutting down lately, I checked wiring. Seems to be the amp...

plug your speakers directly to the head unit to determine if it's amp or head unit

hdrolling...thanks for the offer. it would be a cold 4 hr ride.
aawav...not sure what I did but sure am glad the h/u was under warranty from Harley. I would just feel safer letting someone else do it. I can put speakers and amp in all day long but for some reason the h/u gives me a problem. juice from the wall might have been better.lmao

Yea I was going to but partly lazy, tired of screwing with it! Of course rain 40 degrees has something to do with it. The stuff is a couple of years old and may just get a Christmas for myself. Don't know if there would be any improvement but if I'm going to mess with it may go Pioneer or Kenwood HU better Bluetooth? Still thinking ......but thanks.
