Hey... in your ad you mention squeezing in rf prime amp... which one. If others said "no fit" and you were able to make it work, please share... that is what this forum is all about. Pictures etc are always welcome. Any info on bike year etc always helps as well incl. Verbiage on modifications made to bike or parts to make it work.
Thx and good luck with your sale...

most or all of the threads I've read or been a part of basically state it'll fit but heat and current draw were our concerns.

Well, my signature answers most of your questions AAWAV. '09 Ultra and the amp is a R400-4D. I had to shave the backs of the gauges to make this work. Even then it is SUPER tight. At first I couldn't get the lower 2 batwing screws to line up. After some playing around and screwing the batwing in in a different order I got everything screwed down. It makes reinstalling the batwing more of a choir. Next time I have it off I'm gonna use the flat part of a grinding wheel and take a few **** hairs off the amp.

I took pics and will try to get them up here for you.

It's been a year and I've not noticed any issues. Except that I need to get rid of the stock headunit. Thinking Kenwood.

Sorry dude. On my phone all day so not seeing your signature... if rf fits I am questioning if the 900.4 from soundstream or ppi would fit. I know gannicus, UN etc say NO but still... I got my gauge rings trimmed already... good luck with the grinder lol...

Trust me buddy. . . The TN4.900 doesn't fit.

The sound stream is a tad bit wider. But anything is possible.

If you can find actual physical dimensions on the three amps that gives you your answer. If either of them are even a **** hair bigger in any dimension than my R400-4d then they aren't gonna work. Good luck.
