Default Adding handlebar mounted audio controls to a police bike.

I've installed a nice aftermarket system in my 2011 FLHTP, but reaching down the the radio is driving me insane. What do I need to add the audio control toggle on the bars? Is it just buying one of the controls with wiring and one of the conversion boxes from biketronics?

Any help would be appreciated, especially part numbers.

Hi,

We have a pigtail for our control module that we use for this. You will need HD switch housings and audio switches. The pigtail connector plugs into our module and has wires coming out to hook to the HD switch wires. We match the HD switch wire colors to make it as easy as possible. We do it all the time for Police and RK conversions.

If you want give me a call and I can go over what is involved.

Bill

If it were me I'd call Bill at biketronics. He gave you a personal invitation to do so . . . Doesn't get much better than that IMO . . .

Edit: Disregard Man I re-read Biketronics post and see where you need dealer parts. I'm sleepy. . . lol

I know this is a old thread but I’m wanting to do the same thing on a 2011 Electra classic police bike.
