Heard a rumor that the Picasso Nano series is discontinued, and replaced by this. http://soundstream.com/store/car-aud...icon-nano.html

at 6.5" wide and 9" long, I find it very hard to believe that this could be mounted in the fairing with RCA's connected. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

That 6.5 width will be tough. The TN4.900 and the PPI 900.4 are list at 6.75 and 6.8 width with roughly the same length and the width absolutely does not fit (i tried).

Bummer. They need to just come out with an amp set up the same way but, 2" thinner. Would be awesome, and sell like hot cakes.

They are not doing away with the Picasso Nano line they are just resizing and revamping the Rubicon Nano line.
Go to their website and click on catalogs then click on the 2015 car catalog and you will see what they will have for this year and they are not doing away with the Picasso nano line of amps actually they will be coming out with a new amp,the PN4.1000D amp I have talked to them and they have stated that it will be coming out sometime this summer.
This new amp will be the one to get when it comes out.

mmmm- Nutz brought up the fact PA comes out with a RZ4-3000D....
knowing the relationship between SS and PA and the fact PA way OVERRATES their amps on specs, it looks like those 2 amps will be "the same"... so 4 x 250 @ 2ohm. now, if the size will fit in the fairing.... I got info the PA will be 12.25" long and somewhere between 4-5" "deep" (2" high), but we know the PA RZ series so far have 2 covers on the ends you need to take off... will be questionable if it would fit in batwing.
RZ4-3000D supposedly being released Mar/Apr...
