I've read what seems like hundreds of posts here, my head is swelling. I think I've decided on the PBR300X2/Infinity Kappa setup. But I keep reading about flashing... magic box... and I want to keep FM.

Do I have to have the ECM flashed just to add an amp & two batwing speakers? Is it not as simple as basically putting the amp in between the new speakers and the head unit & calling it a day?

Thanks to UltraNutZ I have the correct wiring & grills coming from v-twin. Got the amp at Amazon for $158 shipped, the speakers from Crutchfield for $136 (others were $129 but had 9% sales tax).

Now it's a week of sitting on the front porch waiting for brown Santa.
