Ridedaddy, how did you manage to get your polks replaced?

 

Lol.....see I'm being good. Taking the high road as they say.

 

Well I have a small bit of renewed faith in the corporate world. I contacted polk about the bad speaker and they said "no problem, send it in and we'll send you a new one".


And BY GOD they did!


Once more into the breach! Lets see if we can tear up some more $hit!

 

Blew one, melted one. Polk replaced. Would guess most melted ones are under fairing where heat is boxed in. Blown one in my case was from setting gains with music from my phone through the aux. port then play some tunes through cd player which plays much louder and overpowers speakers. Juat have to be cautious when playing cd's
