Default PBR300x2 Sending ~3.5vdc Back to Ground

Got a really, really weird problem I've never seen before. I suspect the magic smoke may have come out of my rear PBR300x2. It quit working yesterday suddenly. I went investigating with my multimeter today. When I measure power between the frame and the BATT+ cable I get ~12.26vdc with the key off. As soon as I hook up the NEG cable to the amp, the difference across the BATT+ and the frame drops down to around 8.75vdc. It is the same at the amp or at the frame, multimeter does not show 12vdc across the main power connector. The front PBR300x2 is running fine, although I have not removed the fairing to measure the voltage.

Anyone ever hear of something like this happening? It is an almost brand new amp.
