I have a ultra with Sony 310 media player. Sounstream amp, hog tunes tweeter bar , bag lids and 6.5 . Today I couldn't tune into a station or listen to my sub or iPod. The radio is going haywire. Keeps scanning stations and jumps through all my iPod and usb music with out letting me choose a song. Anyone have any ideas? Thx

 

Take the face off the radio and hit the little reset button. You will need a small point tool to do it. that should clear it up, if not it may be a bigger internal problem.

 

. I did that the first time and it worked. It's doing it again. I took the fairing off and checked all the connections and found nothing loose. I hate to buy another radio since this is the second Sony 310 that's gone bad. I love the iPod tray.

 

Makes me wonder if the ZAP button is stuck.

What kind of hand control module do you use? Biketronics is very good with troubleshooting over the phone if you're using their module. It could also be a bad hand control switch. Not knowing your level of capability, and with no disrespect intended, can you bypass the hand controls?
