Default biketronics splash guard won't mount

i screwed up and ordered a biketronics splash guard thinking that it wedged in the dash indentation not the opening where the radio goes thru on a road glide . i didn't see the notice that they needed the bike tonics mount ….i have the metro ….. any ideas how to make it work or what do i need to protect my radio ?

Is your radio recessed about 1/2 inch in the opening?

Here is another option:

thanks again …. my radio is only recessed about 1/8 of an inch and i think it is tighter on one side than the other …. when i push the bt cover on there isn't much resistance to hold it on ….. it came with 2 small velcro pieces on the ends but don't have room or a place to slide in far enough to use them ….. is there any way to modify the mount so the radio sits back in the opening farther ?

Gann my friend... do we have real use reviews on the scosche cover? looks like it comes with a all around rubber "gasket" compared to the Bt version (which I have).
We all know the V Twin is the best one out there but pricey...

IF the bike cost $25,000.00 $86.00 is not that much to keep your radio dry.
I rode in a monsoon this summer in IL, for 8 hours and not 1 drop of water on the radio the V-Twin cover works plain and simple.

It has a gasket all the way around it's outside edge and fits into the opening that is in the factory fairing, you just push it in slowly and evenly until it seats that's it it does take an extremely long 4-5 seconds but time well spent protecting your HU.
