Default Porting Tour Pack to atmosphere for better bass response

I have searched up and down in the forums for results on adding ports to get better/bigger bass response from the rear speakers on my 14 limited. The rear speakers seem to be running out of "useable" air. When you open the lid on the tour pack and set it down on the closed latch (with an air gap)the rear speakers have a much better bass response as well as sound.
Just looking for suggestions if I should port the pizza box or not

What size ports did you use?

Nope. Don't do it Babyboy. Not worth it. Bass needs to come from the saddle bags.

Yep ... I wouldn't recommend doing it after doing mine.

Slightly similar but different question. I noticed the Rushmore rear speaker pods are ported into the tour pack. Has anyone done that?, and if so how, and what were the results?

Thanks for the replies on the question at hand.

What would be an excellent replacement speaker for the rear pods on a 14 limited?

I have been doing some "homework" and have decided to run the kappa 62.11 in the faring but undecided for the rear pods.
Any and all suggestions welcome.
Thanks
