Default Soundstream PN41000d Batwing stock HU fitment???

Hello Gang
Just to bring you all up to speed.
-2005 Ultra Classic
-Stock HU Older unit i piece, Not like the 2006-2013 Harmon, so i can't relocate modules
-I have Sony 310, but no funds for the install kit for 2-3 months
- removing H-Tunes amp, front speakers
-installed BT 6.5 II
- reuse H-Tunes speakers for rear pods

The question is....
Does This amp fits on top of Stock HU with CB (2005 < ultra classic remember)
It's cold in the shop today and wires don't want to move to easily

With it on top of HU pushed all the way back with No hook ups yet, I couldn't put the bat on?

Any advise
It will fit, just shove it in there? Lol

it looks like the black inner fairing struts will need to trimmed to allow speaker connections, if pushed all the way back to the gauges?

It won't fit with out aftermarket smaller radio? Edit confirmed it won't fit with Ultra HU pre 2006

So rough it in until the aftermarket HU??

Gan, Haze you guys have same set up except most pictures show single DIN aftermarket HU

Thanks in advance guys

try relocating your CB module under your radio with some velcro.

Never say never
If I can be one of the first ones on this forum to get that amp on the stock amp bracket in a Rushmore batwing you can get it in your fairing

See the pictures, reminder this is a 2005 UC with the one piece HK HU with CB and Rear channels, intercom etc as 1 unit

So there is nothing to relocate

They way I was checking for clearance when I did my install was I used a straight edge from the top of the inner fairing to the top outter corner of the radio. Anything under that will clear the fairing.
You might have to fab a bracket to raise the amp up (gauge side) to get the front corner of the amp to have the right angle for clearance. Possibly mount the amp under the radio.
Just some ideas

can you trim the lower part of the gauge mounts behind the amp and slide it in a little further back?
