Default Connectors discusion

I IN NO WAY, WANT THIS TO BE LIKE THE RCA THREAD!!! I am going to do an overhaul on my system, guessing a winter project. The thing I am after is a good-protected connection that looks nicer than the cheap, fragile plastic crimp on type. Maybe a good connector w/ heat shrink? I see some of what you guys do and it looks like artwork compared to what I have done in my fairing. Any input - pictures or recommendations are welcome and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Good question, should have covered that. All in fairing and speakers. If you want to mention the ones for bags it might be helpful for others.

Both. Speakers in fairing and pods and lowers, My existing power and ground are 8 gauge and have no connector now, but maybe the next amp will?

Well for my amp, i run these coneectors for power and ground.
http://www.knukonceptz.com/home-thea...lugs-set-of-4/
For speakers i use:
http://www.parts-express.com/200-pie...r-kit--099-006
I take off the blue plastic and heat shrink the wires.
My my connections at the crossover i use those U ring shaped terminals.
For the speaker wires at the amp, i use these:
http://m.ebay.com/itm/20pcs-copper-S...=1425753549006
All the wiresare heat shrinked too.

I will use the same connectors for my saddlebag amp as well. Only thing different is i am using this as a quick detach connector for the saddlebag speaker wires as well as for the remote turn on wire:
http://m.ebay.com/itm/10-Kits-Car-6-...=1526687020008
For power/negative i am using one of these:
https://www.waytekwire.com/item/3770...SB175-Series-/
I bought a crimping tool do up the connections like they should be. Im using knukonceptz 16 gauge speaker wires well. I then siliconed in the wires to the connectors too make sure they were waterproof from the back. My stinger 6000 rca's go straight into the bag. The hole is just big enough to push them back out if needed.

Sponger, the link you posted for power and ground are banana plugs...is that correct, not ring terminals, and if correct how do you use banana conects for power and ground, maybe a special battery terminal connector???

Very nicely done. Thank you sir. Looks like you have the same nice and neat approach I was speaking of.
