Default Rz42000 loss of sound

Ok so got my rz42000d and hertz hcx165 for fairing. Still running fosgate in lids. Using stock hk radio and hi level input on amp. Used to have pbr300x4 and fosgate in fairing too. When I put new amp and speakers in sounds lost fullness and midbass. I'm running the amp hp when I switch to ap it distorts bass quickly. Hk is all set at flat. So I put my fosgate soeakers back in fairing and same thing. I read a lot of good about this amp but not seeing it. Any ideas?? Will a new head unit fix this. Or line level to use rcas? I figured I'd blow the old system away but not impressed.

Go back and check each and every connection. Very simple oversights or missteps can raise hell on a good install. This is a patience mans sport.

Try running the amp on HP and set your crossover to 80hz!! Those speakers should be jumping out of your fairing with that amp!! There's an issue somewhere. You just have to find it. The RZ4 and those speakers are a good combo!!
