Default Audio on a 96 Road King FLHR

I recently bought speaker lids, 6x9's, and a 200 watt plug and play amp for my 96 Road king. My plan is to just run an aux cable from my phone to the amp. My question is about wiring. Can I wire the speakers and amp directly to my battery? Will the charging system keep up with that? I only plan to run the audio while riding. Any advice would be appreciated!!!!

8 ga power and ground directly to the battery
make sure your amp is 2 ohm stable if you plan to run 2 ohm speakers. example... you can run 4 ohm speakers from a 2 ohm amp, but not 2 ohm speakers on a 4 ohm amp. better yet. what is the make and model of your amp and speakers?
