The adaptors that showed up are more flexible than the Knu Krystal series. With how they are gonna run I'm not worried.

Oh I know. Just didn't want another RCA debate to come up lol. Are the 8000 series overkill, most likely, but didn't want to leave anything on the table so to say. Found some decent deals and just ran with it.

Everything has come in and the install will begin soon. Gotta get this damn job to slow down, spend some time with the wife and daughter, and then get started on the install hopefully next week. If I'm lucky my bags will show up as well.

Progress:

I think I'm gonna have to paint the fairing screws, they are looking a little beat up from taking it off soo much lol. Hoping to get the amp and a couple other things done tomorrow. Still waiting on bags and a few other things, but i have enough to keep me busy. Thank you Slye for the tip on the hole saw on plastic.

That's an awesome idea. I really like that as an idea for mounting tweets instead of the grilles.

Can you share the tip on the hole saw on plastic? Thinking about mounting my AT28'S in that location. SF

Just starting it off in reverse to keep the teeth from biting too hard and chipping/gouging the paint. Once it's started finish it in forward.

Be careful with that thought. Probably OK to mound horns out there on the tip of the wing, but I personally would never mount a tweet out there.
