Does or will the magnet have an adverse affect on amps or crossovers installed close?

Where I have to move the current crossover and install the new amp is pretty close to the magnet.

 

By close, how close are we talking?
It won't matter on the amp but try and keep a couple of inches away from the speaker just for heat from the amp. Your crossover can be snuggled up against the magnet. Most are shielded enough to make it a moot point.

 

They will both be a couple inches away. No snuggling for them under the fairing. LOL

 

Having the crossover this close to the speaker didn't seem to have any adverse reaction. I had it the same way with the MLK components.
