Default Finally build is near complete

Bike 95 % done. Need to put outer on and assemble tour pack, go back and buff and glaze it,then time to ride.Waiting for rear shocks to come back after needing a heim joint replaced, and have to get new rear tire installed. Can't get bike off lift without shocks. Have some tuning to do but audio is all done and sounding pretty good but will get more out of it. Wife took a few short vids while I was tuning the dsp. Some pics and a few vids. The close up pics are not grainy but seeing flake and pearls. 1st vid has outer fairing off but shows you cn get some bass from pa speakers. Not all genres have the lower end but it is front stage and I am very impressed. Have some others to swap in coming soon as well to see what the difference sounds like from QUALITY pa speakers.

Very cool! How long has it been since the paint was laid down? Give it a month or so and throw a paint coating on it after its polished out. Metal flake will pop out of the tank then!
Well Done

Couple weeks. Have 3m paint safe compounds and glazes I will hit it with in a few days. Buffing and glaze for machine and a hand glaze for when I need a shine more than detailer.Won't get wax for a year. Maybe overkill but what my painter wants. Have some good wax free and silicone free spray detailer to use between washes.

I don't think I will dick with them. If I ever decide to try different ( likely not right now LOL) easier to sell and don't really mine the color personally. Doesn't hurt them, but if I did I would want automotive paint and clear on them for durability, but need adhesion promoter etc.

I was just thinking that u have such a bad **** paint job and set up that u would not want anything to possibly take away from that. The 880s look bad **** and all but the paint and lines on ur sled are what it's all about.

I just unplugged the tweets on mine to get the wire slack, cardboard and mask over the woof. Beer can to hold it up, black paint, clear, done. Bet u could find some black pearl in a shaker. Mask over the tweet holes and brush that shix in over a beer.

Just a thought bro.
