American Hard Bag (Use Promo Code:"Ship Me!") and V-twin Audio both sell them. Some here have has problems with alignment and leaking using the V-twin adapters on the Rushmore lids. If the AHB ships free that will make up for the tool needed for the install.

Default Verification AHB vs. V-Twin?

Just curious if anyone has completed an install with the AHB adapters instead of the V-Twin Audio adapters? Are they worth the extra cash? Do the speakers hang lower or higher?

Want to make an educated choice when I get ready to do my lids down the road.

I removed the VTwin adapaters and purchased and installed the AHB adapaters. I like them way more and installed very easily.

FWIW, I didn't have any problems with my Vtwin Adaptors. They went in very smoothly, everything fit, I've had Arc 692s that lined up fine, Pioneer Pro's that lined up fine. I wouldn't change a thing. That said, I've never seen AHB product so I can't speak to it.

From what I saw the V-Twins have the "spacer" built in but I don't think the Pioneer TS-6900s need it because it's part of the frame. Wouldn't that make them hang down farther?

The AHB adapters are slightly thinner overall about maybe 1/8" but they are one piece and tje vtwin is 2 pc screwed together.
