2006 ultra Cvo. Sound cuts out on all sources intermittently. When I flick the speaker switch on the dash on/off if comes back sometimes for a minute to ten minutes. Any suggestions?

 

Bad solder joint on audio preamp circuit common on many hd hk units.

Solder joints are fine...never seen a bad solder joint on the audio circuit.
With the 06, it's probably a crack on the main board, especially if you ever had any issues with broken fairing brackets.

 

I have the same problem with my 2008 Ultra. So what was your fix?

 

Post is two years old . . I'd say the fix is a crack on the main board per iron cross . . Those guys are good!

 

Having the same issue on a 2012. Just sent Iron Cross an email. Hopefully, it's an easy fix.
