Default Need Hogtunes info please

I have the OEM stereo and aquired a plug-n-play Hogtunes 25x2 amp. I'm looking for front speakers. I've checked Hogtunes but there are LOTS of them.

What's the best bang for the buck? In any brand...

IF it is a 24.2 then it's stable at 2 ohms which is why I was asking. This means that the amp will run any speaker that is 2 ohm or higher (ie 4, 8, etc.) but since it's a 2 ohm amp I would stick with 2 ohm speakers to be able to get the full 30 watts per channel out of it. As for speakers, it's like asking which oil is better; everyone has an opinion based on their experiences. I personally like and recommend the 6.5" polk audio speaker for 2 reasons. 1.) in my opinion the best bang for the buck 2.) sound quality is incredible with an amp pushing them.
Now with that said the thing to keep in mind here is most speakers that have a rating of say 100 watts rms basically means that you'll achieve best sound quality by driving those speakers at 100 watts. In any case, the polks connected to this hogtunes 24.2 amp will sound 100% better than stock so I say go for it.

here's the manual for that amp.

Thank you. Are the Polk speakers waterproof? And can you give me the part number?

They are water resistant yes. and no speaker is waterproof other than speakers that are designed in enclosures for marine use. The model # is MM651

Wouldn't something with a lower RMS be more efficient with a 24w amp?

How about those Focal 165CA1's?

the object of the game is to match components so yes in theory. However with that said, I think in your case I would be more concerned about future upgrades because once you get a taste of that 24w amp, you'll want more. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone... get better speakers now and not have to worry about upgrading them later when you decide to change amps.

Just put set of the Polk mm651 to replace my J&M 7.25 (1rst gen) as per UltraNutz advice.....well worth the change!!! MUCH fuller sounding with better bass. Paired them up with a Rockford Fosgate PBR300x2 amp. I'm very happy with sound quality now. Even my wife noticed the difference Thanks Ultranutz!
