System is installed and cranking out some loud *** jam's.
Someone was asking if they had any pics of what it looked like under the fairing. So here you go.

Also i have a question regarding the sound diff from front and rear. Seams that the bass in the rear hits louder than the front. My gains are set the same. Is this from the fact that the rears are in the smaller pod? I'll play the same song with just the front's then with just the rear's , Rears are definitely hitting harder. Song i'm using is Van Halen Hot for Teacher.

IMO, its the fact that the rear pods are enclosed while the fairing speakers are not.

 

My amp looks a lot different than your 520 guess it may be older/newer design I throw up a pic in a sec.

I just installed the same amp in your pics strait. The OP does have a different amp than us. At least the way it is configured and what not is different than ours.

 

I was just curious as both have the same model number just a thought that was rattling around in my head. Interesting to know though.

 

Yeah that is what I suspected. It only makes sence. Would be awesome though if the fronts could hit like the rears. Overall I am completely satisfied with the system. I do have another set of the 651's. Think I'll wait for the ss 2 channel to come out and but them in the lowers and then run the rears on the 2channel and run the fairing and lowers on the 4 channel.

 

Does the polyfill make a difference in the fairing?

 

I thought the speakers sounded better with the polyfill. Maybe it was just selective thinking cause I expected it. I can say that nothing rattles on my bike, or buzzes while music is playing, which is maybe due to the insulating value of the polyfil???
