Default Stereo Upgrade! Best Equipment?

Looking to do a stereo upgrade on a 2013 Street Glide. Wondering what the loudest and best sound quality equipment out there? Boom audio or other aftermarket??

Would like to do:

- Upgrade front speakers (6.5" if possible with adapters?)
- CVO rear lids with speakers
- 4 channel amp
- Harley iPod interface and mount
- Stay with stock deck

Just wondering what is the best all around equipment to go with?

Thanks in advance, Brady.

Look into Ultra's setup. I went a second set in my lowers instead of the lids. It sound great and I found it to be less expensive.

The Rockford Fosgate PBR amps look very promising. Don't know if they have a 4 chanel though. For marine speakers, I would go with Kicker or Polk Audio.

+1 to the UltraNutz setup. He'll chime in here shortly I am sure. PN4.520 with 4 MM651s here and they rock.

hehe.. Brady you should never combine the words best and boom audio in the same sentence...

What's your budget? This is the major determining factor in what you choose to run for your setup.

Thanks for the advice! The more I read, the more I am understanding that. I need to make this thing scream without distorting at 70 mph. This is a project I am trying to figure out for my boss!

Our budget is about $2,000.

That would need to include:

-6.5" front speaker and adapters
-Harley's CVO rear lids with speaker mounts and grills
-6 x 9's for the bag lids
-4 channel amp to power both sets of speakers
-any necessary adapters etc...

All this while still maintaining the factory HK deck.

Thank you!

With a $ 2K budget, minus about $550 - 650 for lids & paint, gives about $1400 for updates.........

Sounds like a good candidate for the Biketronics 7.1's in the fairing , Biketronics or Pioneer 6X9's for the bags, and either an SS 4.520 , or 2 of the SS 2.350 amps, under the fairing.

Save a couple of bucks for wiring, fuse kit, polyfil, etc,..............and he'll be a happy camper !

Whaddaya think ??
