I have the Harley Boom audio amp and handlebar speakers installed on my Heritage, and one speaker is louder than the other one. It was installed at the dealership, and I'm wondering what's wrong. Is it a defective speaker, or bad connection? Thanks
I'm unfamiliar with that system, but is there any type of balance control on it that you could check?
Honestly, if it's under warranty, I would just take it back and have them fix it. If it's not, try swapping the speakers from side to side and see if the louder speaker stays on the same side.
Then the best you can do is switch the speakers. If the louder one stays on the same side, it's the amp. If it switches sides, it's the speaker. Either way, it looks like it's probably a warranty issue if it's still covered.
those are sealed in the speaker enclosure so if you pull them out, you'll void the warranty if there is a warranty. I would just bring it back to the if it's under warranty and let them make it right. Otherwise, Pioneer74 has you covered for troubleshooting..
