Default 2012 Heritage

I have a 2012 FLSTC and recently purchased a Pyle PLMCA31BT stereo.
The installation of the components seems pretty straight forward but I'm not exactly sure where to pick up the 12 volts and gnd. Should I remove the seat and install a fuse just for the amp or is there somewhere else I can pick up the source. Also, is a separate switch advisable? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

According to the description, it comes with everything needed to hook it up. What does the instructions say about the power connections? What do you want switched? The power feed?

Hi Pioneer,
The instructions say that there is a place to connect to the 12 volts in the neck of the bike but I'm not certain its a good idea since there is an amp involved. As far as the switch, simply the feed to the amp is what I was thinking.

Not sure how many amps it's going to draw, so not sure if a switch would be feasible without a relay.

Is there "remote on" with the amp, or is the power supply in the neck that is referenced supposed to be switched? Does it say how many amps it pulls, or is there a fuse rating?

While I have found the basic information online for your setup, I can't seem to find a downloadable manual.

There is a remote which mounts on the handlebars so I'm not sure I really need a switch. I can't imagine it draws a lot of current its a micro amp so not sure of draw. There is no fuse rating in the manual.

Okay, so I've got the amp, Bluetooth and speakers wired and its working good when the bike is not running but when I start the bike there is some interference. I've only tried it with my ipod plugged in but its pretty annoying. Any ideas what is going on. All connections seem fine.

I didn't ground the wire directly. I used an adapter from HD that carrys the ground, then connected the red to the + and black to the neg. Should I physically ground the black?
