Now I can't compare the two side by side as the 2010 is gone, but I call tell you I feel like my 7.1s sounded a wee but better in my old bike. At least I know they had a little more low end, However I ditched the stock HU in my 2010 for a sony deck, and we weren't dealing with a DSP then either.

I will be installing the 7.1 (pro line) in my 14 in the very near future. Until then I guess the jury is out.
MontyCop05, has Bill given you a hint as to when they will have the 7.1 Pros ready for the 2014? I keep meaning to call and talk to him but I haven't had the time yet. I am waiting to purchase the whole system once they are ready.

Same here. The pros are available, it's the just the additional bracket that they were working on to mount the tweeter. I'm going to give bill a call tomorrow or Monday.

When I spoke to him about a week ago he said the pro's for the 14s would be ready end of August early September.

I have read and reread all these comments, etc and still am lost on what to do.

I have a 14 SGS with Rockford PBR300x2 Amp and I have the Polk Marine speakers.

Should I have harley flash it for a flat line EQ curve or what do I tell them? I called and asked them about it and they seemed all confused. Or do I have no flash at all?

Whats the final consensus?

According to rockfords website have them flash the system to 8 speakers, 2 amps, but under the amp tab of the system for amp 1&2 select no. I believe this is because those settings are specifically for the boom amps, and you selecting the 8 speakers 2 amps option so it enables all speaker line outputs from the radio with a flat eq curve, at least that's whT I'm getting from this document, and it seems to be inline with j@m, and soundz and many others who deal with harley sound systems.

Just bought a 2014 Ultra Limited and looking for a Bluetooth solution that interfaces with the intercom system built into the bike and Boombox 6.5 system. I suspect that its only a matter of time before a company like Sena or similar develop a Bluetooth adapter so that wireless headsets can communicate with the bike. Anyone know if something is on the market yet????

OK guys, getting ready to go shopping to upgrade my 2014 Ultra Limited. Please help me if there is something I am missing on my list or wont work, not sure if my wiring adapters are enough to get the rear speakers working with the amp. My objective is to add a four channel amp with four new speakers.

Speakers 4 -
INFINITY KAPPA 62.11i 6.5" 6 1/2 INCH 2 WAY CAR AUDIO COAX SPEAKERS

Amp -
ROCKFORD FOSGATE PBR300X4 MINI MOTORCYCLE CAR AMP 4 CHANNEL 300W RMS PBR 300X4

Amp Mount -
Harley batwing amp mount for Rockford Fosgate pbr300x2 pbr300x4

Wiring harness -
DSP Line-Level Shifter (Magic Box) for 2014 Harley Radios

What am I missing? Thanks

The infinity kappa 62.11i will NOT fit in the rear pods on 2014 Limited. I have them installed in the front and in the rear pods I put Kicker 41KSC654 $99. The RF PBR 300x2 drives the front speakers only with the magic box from cycle sounds . I think the audio sounds awesome

Ok thanks. Are you driving your rear speakers with any amp or are you simply satisfied with the front amplification and the rear speaker upgrade?
