Default Splash guard for Biketronics kit?

I need a splash guard for my new stereo setup. Does the splash guard need to be mounted at the same time as the head unit or can it be put on from the outside on a Road Glide? I think people recommended one by Sounds Customs but I cant seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Splash guards fit over the face of the head unit. Those are put on after install.

V-twin makes one that's supposed to be really nice. I have one on order along with their install kit and should have it soon. When I get it I'll let you know how it fits.

The cover by Kuryakyn is a joke. Not sure if it considered a "splash" guard or not. It actually holds water.

After a quick wash of the bike I have to take the cover off and DRAIN the water that it collects. It looks nice but actually causes more of a water problem. I might have to try and make a better seal before it wrecks the headunit.
