I'm not going to make any drastic moves, I'm going to finish my rear speaker lid upgrade and install the bt retro radio kit with a kenwood excelon head unit before even thinking of a new amp. Hell who knows maybe the lid upgrade will make a big difference.
Distortion is my complaint here, but I already switched out the head unit. I guess my speakers are "craving more power", whatever this means

What it means to me is that the amp has reached it's maximum output capability and is clipping the audio signal sending a distorted signal to the speakers.

Would it help to increase the gain setting some? I'm only running it at about the 11 o'clock position currently. I've heard others say it should be closer to the 1 o'clock position?
