Default My thoughts of Barnett H-D

Not certain if I am allowed to post in here, but....

I have been a customer of Barnett H-D for about two years now. I bought my first Harley from them (Patches, my '01 Sporty 1200c, some at Barnett may remember her from her wrecked-up paint pics in my gallery). I LOVE my bike, and I love cruising to Barnett every so often.

Barnett is a wonderful dealership, and I will miss doing business with them once I get out of the Army and go back home. Their staff is professional without being -too- professional (yes, there is such a thing, and yes it is a BAD thing), their prices fair for a dealership and they have a wonderful bone-yard full of used parts (and if I had a lot more money, I'd love nothing more than to go back there for a weekend with a set of wrenches and see what sort of scoot I roll out with), cost of labor is fair, their techs are quick and do good work. They have clearance shelves with GREAT deals! I went by a few weeks ago for a new tire, and ended up purchasing my first piece of leather; a vest that fit well, looked great (will look better once it has patches and dirt), and best of all was on sale for over 50% off!!!

I recommend Barnett H-D to anyone within 500mi. of El Paso, TX! Plus, it's the biggest H-D dealership in the world (or country, or something, not sure), and I recommend anyone rolling through the area visits Barnett and see this spot! Another point of interest is the pictures on the wall from when a semi came off the nearby highway and smashed into the store!!

I am not sure if they already have these items, but I'd totally rock a Barnett patch or pin on my leathers; after all, seeing the biggest H-D dealership in the USA/world is an achievement, and -buying- a bike from them should be an even bigger achievement!

Is it bigger than Bruce Rossmeyer HD near Daytona? I've been in both....but not @ Barnett for over a decade. They do have tons of bikes in that store, including used ones....or at least they did.

Went in a few times and not one salesman ever asked if I needed help. No good.

Ordered a set of boots from them recently online. Easy enough and similiar experience as I have had ordering parts over the years from LSHD, Kutter, etc.

Harley Lenni boots were $180 everywhere, picked them up for $99 shipped at Barnett!
