The ccp is what is the concern.
You could have an engine with a very early closing cam, say at 9.5, and have close to/over 200 psi ccp, and then have a late closing cam set say at 10.8(S&S crate 124"/S&S .640)and have at/near the 175 mark.
Cold cranking number.

The Trask cam is a SE 255

The 106 is definitly a hot rod, w/ Baisley Heads, RB pipe, Hopped ip ration roller rockers, S&S crank w/ dark horse reinforcements.....list goes on. Lately we started spraying it and gain are awesome, but as usual more is wanted!

I'm thinking there would be more safer/bigger gain if I started out w/ a lower compression, but will need to further research.

Definitely will check out the RB calculator.
When you say "spraying it" I assume you mean nos. Wet or dry kit and what kind of results?
