You wouldn't have had that problem with the Thundermax system.But then again you have to go with system that your tuner is most comfortable with.
Ya I would have with the fuel volume it needs under boost when it gets up over 230hp, the stock fuel pump was maxed out and the stock injectors could not keep up so it was needed for max hp.

No my available boost PSI stayed the same but with the colder air my HP went up along with a better tune I now have much smoother and faster throttle response all the way through the RPM range.
It is just as easy to ride as a stock bike but with insane power on demand!
Sounds like a win -win situation the double intercooler . I have the side one from Procharger right now. I am gonna try the double set up , hopefully pumps my HP to the 200 level, I am at 180hp best ET 1/4 mile 10,91 at 124 mph ( 111 s&s engine running 13 pounds boost and higrogen- water injection) Just installed the DAS clutch pulley and works excellent. Great guy Eric from DAS he knows his staff very well.
Is a shame we are so far away to meet and cruise ,one day .
