Anyone know what procharger is doing regarding the new compensator?
I have the old SE compensator with procharger pulley. And everyone know that this comp is useless and needs to be replaced often so I guess soon this compensator will be take off the market to be replaced by the new one...
Have you had any issues with the new SE Comp?
I talked to Walt and the cover is rather pricey at 450.00. Did you take any pics of the inside before you put it together?
I have the old set up .
Does new come with a different type of belt poly glass ?
Does have to be replaced every 7000 miles too?
Thanks
The new SE comp requires a new cover with a drip rail machined in it. Cost is about 450.00 if I remember what Walt Sipp told me.
I was asking because I'm running my original Comp. and the whole upgrade to the new SE Comp, new cover, and drive belt pulley is about a 800.00 upgrade for me.
Has nothing to do with the belt

If you want to extend drive belt life you want to look into DAS Performance. They have clutch pulleys for the procharger that will help extend the life of the inner drive belt. I have the complete 6 rib belt clutch pulley system.
This will take the stress off the inner belt when you let off the throttle.
